My focus on old buildings,

nature, and texture

I have never conciously chosen to focus on specific subjects with my photography and art work, but I was always drawn to the textures seen in old buildings, stone walls, flowers, and in nature. When I was younger, I was facinated to paint in two colors to improve my ability to paint shadows in winter scenes. I noticed this dramatically displayed in winter scenes with mostly white snow and shadow. Both my photogaphy and my paintings reflect these special interests.

I am an amateur photographer and artist. This website gives me an opportunity to display some of my artwork and photography. Some years ago, while doing a lot of business travel, I began to create photoart as a way to blend my photography and art interests.
